God cares for families. so should we!
At Open Gates Fellowship Church, we deliver the message of our Lord, He puts family at the center Throughout Scripture.
When we peer into the book of Genesis, God created the first family. With Noah, He preserved the faithful. Through the generations in the Old Testament, we see that God strengthened and enlarged the household of faith in preparation for the coming Messiah.
The New Testament, also, is filled with exhortations to care for the ‘leased of these,’ to provide for the widows, orphans, homeless and for the husbands and wives to love and honor one another.
Jesus welcomed the little children, healed Peter’s mother-in-law and ensured at His crucifixion, that His mother would be cared for by the Apostle John. God cares for families. So should we.
